Plan a week around your real capacity
A weekly plan with fewer conflicts and enough room for work to take longer.
The first standing job OpenAI suggests for a dot: review the calendar and inbox each morning and send five lines you can act on before the day starts.
Community-reported results. Success rates appear after 10 approved reports. Copies are deduplicated per visitor each day. Starter workflows have not been independently tested.
You open your laptop to forty emails and a calendar you have not looked at. A dot that has already read both can tell you the three things that matter before you start.

Paste this into a conversation with your dot and replace anything in [square brackets] with your own details. It is a standing job, so say when it should run.
Every weekday at 7:30 [time zone], review my calendar for today and my inbox since 6pm yesterday. Send me one message with at most five lines: meetings that need preparation, deadlines due today, replies I owe that are older than two days, and anything unusual. Do not reply to anyone and do not move or archive mail.
Set sending email and calendar changes to hand off to you. The brief only needs read access. Open the dot's profile, then Customize and Custom rules, describe the action and pick the behaviour. Sensitive actions such as changing a password always stay with you.
A scheduled task, read-only plugins for calendar and mail, and the dot's memory of what you have called unusual before.
The first week the brief will include things you do not care about. Tell it each time and it learns the filter. Rollout is gradual, so if you cannot create a dot yet, check the plan and region on the Sundog dots hub. Dots can make mistakes, including when following your rules; review consequential work before relying on it.
